I love to look at my children's faces when they have so much hope, anticipation and wonder. New experiences just help their Spirits grow so fast. I didn't cry this year, which was an improvement. Next year when G-man goes into Kindergarten I will make up for it :)
It's 11 am and I've already scrubbed the bathrooms, mopped the kitchen, and started dinner in the crockpot..

ReplyDeleteThe boys are at Sego Lily this year there were NOT thrilled their first day especially Aidan, ew school, new rules, no friends-- it can be tough BUT they are happy about learning new things and meeting new friends -- I think anything to be away from their younger brother for a few hours is great to them!! ; ) Totally random-- I love your family picture its very cute!

ReplyDeleteThat is CRAZY about that first Texas storm!! What city did you live in? How high was the water when you were walking through it? How scary. Good memories, though :) Yes, we do NEED to keep in touch. I need a good dose of Rachel more often in my life :) I love you, you litte PEACH :) So sad to have your little Garrett have to go through surgery. Sounds like it's better now, though. Kate is SO grown up. What a beautiful girl, like her momma. I love your family photo, too. Adorable!

Oh isn't it sad/happy to see our kids so grown up? Second grade - whew! Not sure I'm going to survive it ;0!
